The trek from Pelling to Tashiding via Khecheopalri Lake is often called the “Monastic Trek” taking the trekker through some of the most historically significant Monasteries of Sikkim, offering the visitor an intimate glimpse of the Sikkimese version of Lamaism and life in traditional villages.

Day 1: Travel to Pelling

Day 2: Hike from Pelling to Khecheopalri Lake

Day 3: Hike from Khecheopalri Lake to Yuksom

Day 4: Hike from Yuksom to Tashding

Day 5: Return to Gangtok or Darjeeling by vehicle
